As a fourth-generation family-owned company, our employees are driven by meaningful work that advances sustainability and supports the communities we serve.About the Role:Sloan has an opening for a Production Supervisor II in our Andover, MA facility reporting to the Production Manager.This role is responsible for planning, organizing, and managing the effective utilization of people, materials, equipment, and manufacturing processes within multiple departments to meet safety , production schedule, quality, inventory, cost, and delivery objectives.What You'll Do:Directly supervise and follow up on scheduled work with all employees in assigned areas of responsibilityTrain, evaluate and coach staff. Resolve personnel performance issues.Responsible for meeting established productivity targets and developing and implementing corrective action plans when needed.Produce quality parts and finished goods that meet established quality standardsCollaborate with Manufacturing Engineer on release of NPDI projectsReview production schedule for needs and accuracyEnsure conformance to safety rules and regulations, and employee rules of conductPerform continuous improvement activities aimed at enhancing safety, efficiency, quality, and costsResponsible for training employees in proper methods and procedures. Continues to develop and lead employees with ongoing trainingComplete Non-conforming sheets and monitor & track production failuresRun, monitor, and track automated equipment as required to ensure efficient production operationsAssist Assembly team as required with daily production needsOther duties and responsibilities as required.WhatWe're Looking For:4+ Years Supervisory Experience5+ Years Experience in a manufacturing environment or degree in a related fieldProficient level experience working with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).Technical skills and knowledge of assigned areaWorking knowledge of material, tooling, machine tools and manufacturing processWorking knowledge of safety management processes1+ Years Experience working as an Assembler3+ Years Supervisory experience in a manufacturing environmentExperience participating and leading Continuous Improvement activitiesPrior experience using LEAN manufacturing in a production environmentExperience with SAP or other ERP system#LI-BH1Sloan is an equal opportunity employer. Compensation:The compensation range for this U.S.-based position is $X - $X annually.This position is eligible to participate in the company incentive plan.
