Quality Inspector This role serves as a quality inspector in an aerospace and military defense machine shop, focusing on the inspection of precision-machined parts using micrometers, calipers, and other measuring tools to ensure they meet stringent quality and blueprint requirements. Responsibilities: Inspect incoming parts and components in a receiving inspector capacity to ensure they meet aerospace and military defense quality standards. AS9100 standards and/or AS9001 First article, in process, and final inspection Use micrometers, calipers, and other precision measurement tools to verify dimensions, tolerances, and overall part conformity. Interpret and work from blueprints and technical drawings to confirm that parts meet specified requirements. Document inspection results accurately and clearly using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email as needed. Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Long Beach, CA. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
