About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of 360 Consumer Marketing & Brand Strategy for its BET Networks. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of developing and executing marketing strategies that drive awareness and engagement for the BET brand. This pivotal role involves creating and managing in-market plans to enhance viewership and foster a deep connection with the audience. The VP will be responsible for show launch strategies, leading the development of franchise briefs, and building comprehensive cross-functional launch plans. A key aspect of the position is the ability to generate bold and disruptive ideas that elevate the BET brand on a national and global scale. Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years' of experience, with a preference for those with a background in marketing, advertising, or media strategy. The role requires exemplary collaboration skills, robust analytic thinking, and the ability to operate as a business owner. The ideal candidate will be a top-notch communicator, a flexible and proactive individual, and an effective problem-solver with a can-do attitude.
