As a Security Officer supporting a government location, you will conduct routine unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, and assist visitors and personnel with professionalism. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a government services location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry as directed, and maintain awareness of visitor activity, deliveries, and restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Document daily activities, patrols, incidents, and observations in required reports, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a TSA-issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
