Physical Therapist (PT) Outpatient PRN

Job Description

Inova Physical Therapy - Ballston is looking for an outpatient Physical Therapist to join our outstanding team. This position is PRN or as needed for intermittent coverage needs. Clinic Hours are Monday-Thursday from 7:00am -7:00p, Friday from 7:00am to 4:00pm. We offer 1:1 patient treatment model, a formal mentorship program and a commitment to continuing education and personal growth.

Physical Therapist (PT) Job Responsibilities:

• Demonstrates essential skill competencies in the use of treatment modalities, equipment, and protocols.
• Performs re-evaluations according to department guidelines while adjusting treatment plans accordingly.
• Adheres to department policies regarding the timeframe, form, and content of written evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Gives appropriate instruction and supervision to assistive personnel consistent with program/clinic policies and regulatory requirements.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, medical staff, care team members, students, supervisors, and outside contacts.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
• Licensure: Physical Therapist upon start (VA licensure or compact privileges are acceptable)
• Certification: BLS through the American Heart Association upon start

Preferred Qualification:

• Physical Therapist (PT) experience
