Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including drainage piping, water piping, fixtures installations, and gas piping systems on construction sites or existing structures
• Read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately execute plumbing layouts according to specifications
• Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques to assemble and install plumbing components efficiently
• Ensure all work complies with local building codes, plumbing building codes, safety regulations, and mechanical standards
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on plumbing systems to optimize performance and prevent future issues
• Assist with remodeling projects by integrating plumbing systems seamlessly into existing structures
• Conduct heavy lifting safely during pipe installation or material handling while following proper safety procedures

Skills

• Proven construction site experience with residential and commercial plumbing projects
• Strong knowledge of plumbing system maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting techniques
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans accurately
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, welding tools, and other mechanical devices
• Familiarity with local building codes, plumbing codes, gas piping systems, HVAC integration, and safety regulations
• Experience with construction plumbing installation on new builds or renovations including remodeling projects
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients or team members
• Mechanical aptitude combined with basic math skills for precise measurements and calculations
• Knowledge of maintenance, repair & operations (MRO), field service practices, and construction plans management
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining focus on safety protocols
