Responsibilities Team Leadership & Development Lead and mentor a team of technicians, fostering a collaborative and high‑performing culture. Recruit, develop, and retain talented team members who are passionate about excellence. Supervise and provide oversight over work processes in technical areas. Create personalized development plans to help your team grow their technical skills. Proactively identify and resolve roadblocks while providing effective decision support to the team. Build a learning environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement. Operations & Technical Management Oversee preventative and predictive maintenance programs to minimize downtime. Develop weekly work schedules and coordinate technical activities across departments. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with mechanical and electrical systems, automation, mechanical equipment, fluid power, and industrial networks. Ensure your team has the right tools, resources, and support to succeed. Implement efficient work procedures and best practices. Strategic Impact Drive continuous improvement initiatives based on feedback from frontline support teams. Research and recommend new technologies, processes, and equipment to keep us competitive. Partner with plant management on reliability, safety, and operational excellence. Champion Research & Development activities and innovation projects. Lead change management efforts with confidence and clarity. Additional Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation. Qualifications Skills and Abilities Fundamental expertise in mechanical, electro‑mechanical, instrumentation, and automation systems, or other related technical skills and abilities. Experience with maintenance management systems (work orders, preventative maintenance, scheduling). Knowledge of millwright, machinist, or engineering principles is a plus. Experience: 3+ years of experience in industrial plant maintenance. Strong background in mechanical repairs. Electrical systems, and automation experience highly desirable. Hands‑on experience troubleshooting industrial networks and automated systems a plus. Proven supervisory or team leadership experience required. Education: Associate degree in industrial maintenance, electro‑mechanical technology, mechanical engineering, or related technical field preferred. Relevant military technical training welcomed.
