Data Engineer - Snowflake

Job Title: Snowflake Technical Lead
Experience: 12+ Years
Location: Local to San Antonio, TX / New York, NY only
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end Snowflake solution design, architecture, and development.
- Manage Snowflake production support, root cause analysis, and month-end closing activities.
- Design and optimize Snowflake schemas, tables, views, Streams, Tasks, and Snowpipes.
- Implement Snowflake security (RBAC, data masking, row/column-level security).
- Build batch and near real-time data pipelines using Talend, Snowpipe, and ELT frameworks.
- Enable AI/ML use cases using Snowpark (Python), Cortex AI, and external ML platforms.
- Lead offshore teams and collaborate with business stakeholders.
Required Skills
- 12+ years of Data Engineering / Analytics experience.
- 8+ years of hands-on Snowflake development and production support.
- Snowflake (Advanced SQL, Streams, Tasks, Snowpipe, Performance Tuning, Security).
- Cortex AI.
- Python / Snowpark.
- Talend ETL.
- AWS Cloud.
- Strong SQL and Data Engineering concepts.
- 4+ years of P&C Insurance experience.
- Experience with Month-End Closing activities.
- 4+ years of Technical Lead experience.
