Our client, a leading organization in the food service industry, is seeking a Cook to join their dedicated team. As a Cook you will be part of the culinary department supporting the kitchen staff. The ideal candidate will demonstrate creativity, attention to detail, and a passion for food, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Cook

Location: Oceanport, NJ

Pay Range:

Shift: Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM 

What's the Job?

• Prepare and cook a variety of food items following established recipes and safety guidelines
• Ensure all food is handled, stored, and prepared in compliance with sanitation standards
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment
• Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality meals efficiently
• Support the implementation of new recipes and culinary techniques to enhance menu offerings

What's Needed?

• Experience as a cook or in a related culinary role
• Knowledge of food preparation, cooking methods, and food safety regulations
• Ability to acquire food safety certification
• Basic math and counting skills for accurate measurements and portioning
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
