Fitness Attendant – Lewis Center (26/27) – FWS Position Type: Part‑Time (Student) – FTE not specified. Schedule: Monday–Thursday 7:00 a.m.–11:00 p.m.; Friday 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m.; Saturday–Sunday 9:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. Position begins August 17. Location: Lewis Center, University of La Verne. Responsibilities Welcome, greet, and provide assistance to facility users. Provide safe and effective instruction for all cardiovascular and resistance training equipment. Give safe advice regarding exercise programs and equipment use. Maintain and clean exercise equipment. Enforce all facility rules. Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned by supervisor. Minimum Qualifications Experience with resistance training and cardiovascular exercise. Ability to use and operate resistance training and cardiovascular equipment. Ability to assist individuals in developing a safe and effective exercise program. Preferred Qualifications Ability to help all patrons of the fitness center with any exercise programming needs; Kinesiology major/minor preferred. Benefits Summary Paid Sick Leave: One hour per 30 hours worked, up to 24 hours per year and capped at 48 hours. Defined Contribution Retirement Plan.
