X-Ray Technologist

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join an acute care hospital. This position offers a reduced Non-Billable Orientation (NBO) period compared to the standard, providing a quicker transition into the role. Key Responsibilities Perform CT scans according to physician orders and established protocols. Operate CT imaging equipment safely and effectively. Ensure proper patient positioning and protocol selection. Administer contrast media as indicated and document appropriately. Maintain a sterile environment and infection control practices. Document patient care activities accurately in the electronic health record. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care. Respond to and manage medical emergencies as needed. Schedule / Shift Weekend requirements include rotating shifts. Block schedule accommodation is at the manager's discretion. Required Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Valid ARRT (R) certification. BLS certification. Venipuncture certification. Experience A minimum of 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist is required. First‑time travelers are accepted. Skills Proficient in performing a variety of CT imaging procedures. Knowledge of CT scanner operation and maintenance. Strong understanding of cross‑sectional anatomy. Excellent patient assessment and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. EMR / Systems Epic Patient Population Adult Unit / Specialty Imaging Floating / On‑Call Travelers will be expected to float between like units. This position does not typically involve on‑call duties. Other Information RTO (Request for Time Off) must be included at the time of submission.
