Description - What You Will Do

• Conduct both routine and specialized clinical laboratory tests-spanning chemistry, hematology, immunology, and beyond-adhering to established protocols.
• Examine results for precision, address discrepancies, and execute preventative maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Support specimen collection efforts and prepare samples for analysis as required.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, mentor new team members or students, and help maintain high laboratory quality standards.
• Ensure a clean and safe workplace while complying with regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or equivalent allied health degree along with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be secured within one year of hiring.
• Keep current certification active throughout your employment.
