Job Title
Position summary: Greets patients and visitors to determine their needs. Interprets radiology exam orders. Interacts with patients, physicians and their staff to assist in registration and scheduling needs. Establishes patient records with demographic and financial information, identifies insurance codes, obtains authorizations and advises patients of co-pays. Collects patient co-payments. Follows all registration, scheduling and money collection protocols. May perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Clerical work experience; effective oral and interpersonal communications skills; computer skills.
Salary range: $21.95 - $30.89 hourly. Salary will be commensurate with experience. As part of our ongoing effort to remain an employer of choice, eligible employees who work qualifying weekend shifts receive a competitive weekend rate.
