Under general supervision, the Recreation Supervisor assists in providing a diversified, comprehensive recreation program for youth and adults throughout the City of McAllen, promoting education of present trends in lifetime leisure activities, sound health concepts, a better environment and quality of life. This involves assisting in the planning, developing, implementing and administering of specialized programs for youth and adults. This position performs administrative tasks in keeping with city's schedules, policies and employment requirements.About the Organization: McAllen is one of the fastest growing cities in America with a population alone close to 148,000.
