Tax Senior/Tax ManagerAbout the Opportunity
We are partnering with a well-established public accounting firm that is looking to add a Tax Senior or Tax Manager to its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a tax professional who enjoys working closely with privately held businesses and high-net-worth individuals while developing long-term client relationships.
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in tax compliance and planning, enjoy mentoring staff, and be looking for an opportunity to continue growing their career within a collaborative public accounting environment.
Responsibilities- Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S corporations, trusts, and corporations.
- Provide tax planning and consulting services to business and individual clients.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships while serving as a trusted advisor.
- Research and resolve complex tax issues.
- Review work prepared by staff and provide coaching and mentorship.
- Manage multiple client engagements and deadlines during busy season.
- Assist with practice development and identifying opportunities to expand client services.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- CPA license or progress toward obtaining CPA preferred.
- 3+ years of public accounting experience for Tax Senior candidates.
- 5+ years of public accounting experience for Tax Manager candidates.
- Experience with pass-through entities, partnerships, S corporations, and individual taxation.
- Strong communication and client service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
