Title of Position: Staff Software Engineer in TestManagerial Responsibilities: NoneJob Family: EngineeringDiscipline: Software Engineer in TestClassification: ExemptLocation Consideration: Strong preference for candidates residing in Georgia, Utah, Wisconsin, or Indiana #LI-RemoteGENERAL SUMMARYResponsible for designing and implementing automated test cases for software applications, collaborating on testing priorities, executing tests, reporting defects, keeping current with testing technologies, reviewing code, ensuring software meets requirements, mentoring junior testers, and developing testing strategies.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Design and implement automated and manual test cases to ensure the quality of software productsCollaborate with software engineers and other stakeholders to define and prioritize testing effortsWrite clear and concise test plans and test casesExecute automated and manual tests and report on test resultsReproduce and report software defects and work with software engineers to ensure their resolutionStay up-to-date with emerging testing technologies and methodologiesParticipate in code reviews and provide feedback to software engineers on testability and qualityEnsure that software products meet customer requirements and are delivered on schedule.Mentor and guide junior test engineers in best practicesCreate high level testing and release strategiesMaintain compliance with the knowledge requirements outlined on the department intranet siteLeverage AI tooling to accelerate development activities (e.g., code generation, testing, documentation)Other duties as assignedPHYSICAL DEMANDS:The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
