Schedule / Job Type

Contract (Travel) | 13-Week Assignment | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week | Shift: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (warm-up duty may require a 6:45 AM start) | Schedule may include weekends, holidays, and call shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed therapeutic radiation doses to predetermined treatment areas for patients
• Perform localization procedures necessary to prepare patients for radiation treatments
• Operate linear accelerators, simulators, and electronic health record systems including record and verify software
• Perform basic dosimetry, custom block fabrication, charting, and related clinical support tasks
• Provide education, support, and teaching to cancer patients and their families
• Assist in onboarding new team members and educating students as needed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of recent TruBeam experience required
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiation Therapy required
• American Heart Association BLS certification required
• Ability to obtain and maintain a State of Nevada Radiation Control Program license
• Demonstrated proficiency in body mechanics, fire safety, infection control, patient safety, and CPR

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working with adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations
• Proficiency with EMR systems and skin instruction protocols
• Ability to float to various department needs up to competency level
