Office Assistant
Expected pay for this position is $17.55-$23.69. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. MDH benefits package includes: medical, dental, vision 457B and employer match for FT employees company paid STD and LTD.
Job Summary: Office assistant will be responsible for greeting visitors, answering telephone calls and performing office duties under the direction of the Quality/Compliance Supervisor and Director.
Job Specifications:
Education and Experience: Experience in an office setting handling phone calls and office equipment is desired. Must be able to greet visitors and handle telephone calls in a polite manner. Must be able to take messages and accurately relay information.
Job Knowledge: Should be knowledgeable of HIPAA.
Abilities, Interests and Temperaments: Ability to interpret instructions and communicate with other healthcare professionals. Ability to read and write is required for filing and other office tasks. Ability to follow directions and follow policies concerning emergency situations.
