As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will play a crucial role in implementing components of patient care and collaborating with Physical Therapists to modify treatments as necessary. Your responsibilities will include:

• Helping patients stretch and exercise specific muscle groups
• Reading and following instructions from the Physical Therapist
• Working directly with the Physical Therapist to assist patients
• Communicating with families to determine the best at-home techniques
• Maintaining a clean and organized physical therapy area
• Assisting patients in moving from wheelchairs or walkers to the therapy area
• Completing administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and filing paperwork
• Teaching patients techniques like balance training

Requirements:

• Need 1 year experience in setting
• PTA license
• BLS certification
• State license in Missouri
