Registered Nurse - Telemetry

$1689.12/week - Job Summary: Provide specialized nursing care to patients in a telemetry unit, monitoring cardiac rhythms and responding swiftly to changes in patient condition. Deliver safe, efficient, and compassionate care under the supervision of healthcare providers. Responsibilities: Monitor patient vital signs and interpret telemetry data continuously. Respond promptly to abnormal cardiac rhythms or patient conditions. Perform procedures such as chest tube insertions, bedside paracentesis, and thoracentesis. Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols. Document patient care accurately in the Meditech system. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure quality patient outcomes. Qualifications: Valid RN license in the state of Kentucky. Minimum of 2 years telemetry nursing experience. BLS and ACLS certifications required. Knowledge of chest tubes, dysrhythmia management, and telemetry equipment. Ability to work flexible hours, including every other weekend.
