Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 06/08/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel We're looking for Medical Surgical RNs for an immediate travel nurse opening in Peoria, IL. The right RN should have 1‑2 years recent acute care experience. Responsibilities Provide bedside care for a variety of patients, including pre‑and post‑op patients. Prepare, administer and record prescribed medication, reporting any adverse reactions to treatment. Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs. Prepare equipment and aid the physician during examination and treatment of patients. Educate patients on surgical procedures. Participate in discharge planning and initiate patient education plans as prescribed by physician. Qualifications & Requirements BLS NIH 1 year of experience Ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds.
