Flight Operations Specialist - Part 107

job summary:
Responsible for setting up and taking down delivery drones, performing safety checks, and ensuring smooth flight operations in compliance with FAA regulations and company protocols. Will be part of a Roving Team managing drones across multiple sites in the Greater Memphis area (as far as Hernando, MS).

***Must have Part 107 License***

Various shifts are available. Core hours are 8:30am-8:30pm CT, but hours will vary between 7:00am-10:00pm with a max of 40 hours a week. Hours are dependent upon business needs, personal preference, and may vary between a traditional 8 hours, 5 days a week or even 12, 12, 12, 4.

responsibilities:

• Responsible for setting up and taking down delivery drones, performing safety checks, and ensuring smooth flight operations in compliance with FAA regulations and company protocols.
• Perform aircraft inspections (including pre-flight and post-flight inspections), daily start of day and end of day activities
• Perform routine aircraft standard practices (as defined in UAS Maintenance Manual)
• Perform nest equipment inspections (including pre-flight and post-flight inspections), daily start of day and end of day activities
• Replace equipment as required
• Participate in Crew Briefs
• Maintain communications with the client Pilot-in-Command

qualifications:
- Must have valid drivers license and current auto insurance

- Must pass BGV and MVR

- Must have Part 107 Certification/License

- Eligible to drive regular vehicle at average of 40-50 Miles per day

Physical Requirements:

- Lift from ground level and carry up to 35 lbs and carry multiple items at the same time

- Crouch down and pick up or place objects from/to the ground weighing up to twenty (20) pounds

- Push or pull a wheeled cart on level ground weighing up to two hundred (200) pounds

- Be on feet constantly walking (10k+ steps per day)

- Work outside in various weather conditions (light rain, wind, temperatures ranging from 23F to 110F)

- Maintain mental and visual alertness
