Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapy license and current CSA on file
• Proven experience providing OT services within school environments
• Strong understanding of the IEP process and experience implementing school-based therapy plans
• Effective communication and teamwork skills with students, staff, and families
• Passion for supporting children of all abilities and backgrounds
• Familiarity with adapting interventions and tools for school settings

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students' needs and deliver targeted OT interventions in accordance with IEP goals
• Maintain clear documentation, progress reports, and communication regarding student outcomes
• Collaborate with educators and families to support students’ development across school environments
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise on accommodations and modifications
• Adapt or modify classroom materials and activities to enhance student engagement and independence
• Educate and guide school staff on strategies for integrating occupational therapy into daily routines
