We invite you to bring your PLC and HMI programming, troubleshooting, and configuration skills to our Advanced Manufacturing team. You will contribute to a dynamic team supporting our industrial, water, and wastewater clients. Tosucceed in this role, you will have an associate’s degree in electrical engineering or related discipline and 3 years’ experience; or 6 years’ experience in industrial instrumentation, controls, and automation. You will join our Advanced Manufacturing Field Services Team Your key tasks and responsibilities will be: Commission, troubleshoot, and modify PLC based control systems. Configure, calibrate, and commission instrumentation and analytical equipment Configure, commission, and troubleshoot Variable Frequency Drives and other motor control circuits Read and modify/update control, electrical, and P&ID drawings. Perform modifications to existing control systems Troubleshoot analog and digital circuits with the ability to troubleshoot to a device level with or without drawings and documentation. Configure, modify, and troubleshoot Operator Interface Terminals (OITs). Troubleshoot and modify SCADA software with remote assistance from controls engineers. For this role, we believe your starting point is: Associate’s degree in electrical engineering, Instrumentation Technology or related degree; Equivalent years of experience considered in lieu of degree 3-6+years of experience in industrial instrumentation, controls, and automation Strong knowledge or experience with PLC programming software such as Rockwell (AB), Schneider, Emerson/GE, Siemens, or others Strong knowledge or experience with instrumentation commonly used in the industrial, water, and wastewater industries Strong knowledge and experience with Variable Frequency Drives; motor control circuits Familiarity or trained in NFPA 70E preferred Welcome to our Energy division To meet the fast-paced developments the energy sector is witnessing and overcome the challenges posed by the green transition, Ramboll offers a strategic approach to energy that considers both the energy demand and supply. Salary Transparency Statement At Ramboll, we are committed to fair and transparent compensation practices that support our people and our purpose of creating sustainable societies. The anticipated base salary range for this position is $60,000 to $80,000 per year. This range reflects the compensation we reasonably expect to offer at the time of posting. Actual compensation will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and internal equity. Because we operate across multiple U.S. markets, pay may differ depending on the cost of labor in specific locations. In addition to base salary, this position may be eligible for bonus, overtime or other forms of compensation and we offer a comprehensive benefits package that supports well-being, professional development, and work-life balance.
