Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough evaluations of patients by reviewing medical histories, performing specialized assessments, and determining appropriate treatment recommendations. Communicate evaluation results and treatment plans effectively to patients and their families, ensuring they are involved in setting personalized care goals. Implement treatment protocols based on the patient's unique needs and evaluation findings, while staying updated with the latest healthcare practices. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to adjust treatment plans as necessary based on patient progress and changing conditions, ensuring comprehensive care. Engage in detailed discharge planning, including appropriate follow-up care, ensuring that patient records are meticulously documented and maintained. Exhibit strong time management capabilities to meet productivity expectations, maintaining accurate schedules, and attending necessary meetings punctually. Contribute to departmental goals by complying with all relevant regulations and participating in quality improvement initiatives. Pursue ongoing education opportunities for professional development, mentoring students, and staying abreast of best practices in physical therapy. Patient Population / Client Focus Our clinic serves a varied patient demographic, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological conditions, and chronic pain. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution. A state license to practice physical therapy in New Jersey. Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association. Preferred Experience A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a physical therapy setting. Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems is preferred for efficient documentation and patient management.
