Description

• Conduct assessments of patients in either an inpatient or outpatient environment and develop personalized treatment plans
• Execute physical therapy interventions aimed at enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall function
• Engage with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation professionals to maximize patient outcomes
• Inform patients and their families about therapy goals, discharge preparations, and home exercises
• Keep accurate records of assessments, treatments, and patient progress in keeping with facility and regulatory standards
• Take part in care team rounds and interdisciplinary meetings to guarantee coordinated and comprehensive care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution

Certifications

• State licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification preferred
• Additional certifications in specialties (e.g., neurological, geriatric) are favorable but not mandatory

• Previous experience is highly desirable
