Fitness Floor Staff

Responsibilities

• Supervise the fitness area : Ensure equipment is used properly and safely and intervene when necessary.
• Assist members : Answer questions about equipment, classes, or general fitness guidance.
• Maintain cleanliness : Wipe down machines, organize weights, and report any maintenance issues.
• Enforce rules : Monitor behavior to ensure safety and respect among members.
• Lead or support activities : Sometimes help with group classes, orientations, or special events too.

Skills & Traits

• Strong communication and customer service
• Basic fitness knowledge
• Ability to stay alert and proactive
• Team-oriented mindset
• CPR or first aid certification (often required)
