Infectious Diseases and International Medicine - Faculty Physician

These clinical duties include staffing the inpatient Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation (HSCT) and Solid Organ Transplant (SOT) Infectious Diseases consult services and seeing outpatients referred to the Transplant Infectious Diseases clinic. Other duties may involve staffing the inpatient general infectious disease consult service including telemedicine, and staffing the antibiotic management team services.Educational responsibilities will include teaching students and residents who rotate on the infectious diseases consult service and may include staffing the infectious diseases fellows' clinic. There is also the opportunity to establish and/or collaborate on clinical research studies in an intellectually exciting environment.Required Qualifications:Requirements include a medical (eg, DO, MD, MBBS, etc) degree, board eligibility or board certification in Internal Medicine, and completed fellowship training (or equivalent) in Infectious Diseases.Applicants must have the ability to receive work authorization in the United States from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services and maintain legal status according to the requirements of USA category while in the United States.Pay and Benefits:This role is dually employed by University of Minnesota Physicians and the University of Minnesota. Total salary is market competitive and based on AAMC salary benchmarks. Clinical salary, aligned with clinical effort, is provided through M Physicians. The base salary range for this position is $170,000 -$205,000 commensurate with experience, qualifications, and cFTE.  The salary from the University is dependent upon the academic effort of the person hired.
