Warehouse Worker – Covington, GA

Pay Rate: $15.50/hour

Schedule

• Monday through Friday
• 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• Overtime may be required

Position Overview

We are seeking dependable Warehouse Workers to support warehouse and manufacturing operations in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment. This role involves moving materials, inspecting products, maintaining quality records, and performing general warehouse duties while adhering to established standard operating procedures and quality standards.

Candidates must have at least one year of continuous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or quality-related position and be available to work overtime as needed.

Important Notes:

• Relatives are not permitted to work together in this department.
• Candidates who previously worked for BD/Bard are not eligible for consideration.
• Candidates must be willing and able to work overtime when requested.

Responsibilities

• Move materials, parts, assemblies, and products throughout the warehouse using handcarts and other material-handling equipment.
• Sort, inspect, and verify materials and products for quality and accuracy.
• Utilize inspection and light warehouse equipment safely and effectively.
• Read rulers and measurement tools accurately.
• Maintain quality records and documentation in accordance with company procedures.
• Follow established SOPs, work instructions, and quality guidelines.
• Complete routine tasks using prescribed methods and procedures.
• Support warehouse operations while maintaining productivity and quality standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Minimum one year of continuous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or quality-related position.
• Ability to read, write, interpret, and comprehend documents written in English.
• Basic math skills.
• General computer proficiency.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a metrics-driven environment.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent walking, standing, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
• Frequent use of hands for handling, grasping, typing, and repetitive movements.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds or more as required.
• Ability to work in varying warehouse temperatures, including hot summer conditions and cold winter conditions.
• Ability to work in a moderate to loud work environment.
