Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient examinations, assess evaluations, and devise individualized treatment plans based on functional capacities and limitations. Consult with healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes. Engage with patients of all ages and cultural backgrounds by adhering to our robust customer service standards, fostering a welcoming atmosphere. Implement treatment plans that may include a variety of therapeutic modalities, ensuring to document evaluations, re-evaluations, and progress in accordance with applicable regulations. Maintain accurate records, including treatment documentations and billing submissions for services rendered, ensuring compliance with federal and state laws. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team composed of physicians, nurses, and support staff while supervising and mentoring assigned aides or interns. Participate in community outreach opportunities, demonstrating our commitment to Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) and innovative program developments. Patient Population / Client Focus As an outpatient facility, we cater to a diverse patient population spanning various ages and conditions, where each treatment plan is customized to meet individual needs. Qualifications A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy is required, with a state license in good standing. Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective interactions with patients, families, and healthcare teams. Proficiency in word processing and relevant computer skills are essential for documentation and patient management. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory. Preferred Experience Prior experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting is preferred, ideally in managing a diverse caseload. Knowledge of evidence-based practices in physical therapy and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems will be beneficial.
