Role Overview As a Clinical Nurse Coordinator Emergency Services, you will influence patient care through collaborative relationships and hospital initiatives, shaping decisions that elevate patient outcomes and nursing futures. Job Summary The CNC ensures high‑quality, patient‑centered care and coordination of all functions in the unit/department during the designated shift. The CNC directs, monitors, and evaluates nursing care in accordance with policies, serves as a resource for staff, and models commitment to the organization’s vision, mission, and values. Responsibilities Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high‑quality, patient‑centered care. Participate in assessment of patient‑care quality in collaboration with the management team. Collaborate with subject‑matter experts and managers to create teamwork that supports improved outcomes. Support a patient‑first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary. Operationalize nursing strategies, including employee and hourly rounds, to improve engagement. Recommend and implement staff training, conflict resolution, personnel policy compliance, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions to strengthen the organization. Assist with staff scheduling and manage labor in accordance with patient‑care needs and productivity guidelines. Support inventory control and manage supplies and equipment. Qualifications Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months of employment start date. Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of employment start date. Emergency Nurse Pediatric (ENP) within 18 months of employment start date. NIH Stroke Scale certification within 60 days of employment start date. Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) within 18 months of employment start date. Registered Nurse (RN). Associate Degree in Nursing. No travel required. At least 1 year of experience.
