What You'll Do

• Provide direct patient care in the Operating Room setting using nursing best practices and standards
• Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans for surgical patients
• Support the surgical team by preparing and handling surgical instruments and supplies
• Monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures, ensuring safety and comfort
• Document clinical information accurately and timely in compliance with regulatory standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes
• Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection control policies
• Support and educate patients and family members about pre- and post-operative care

What You Need

• Required:
  
  
  • Current RN License in Louisiana
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • Experience working in an operating room environment
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50+ pounds) and work in a physical setting involving patient contact and on-the-floor duties
• Preferred:
  
  
  • Prior surgical or OR nursing experience
  • Strong organizational and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
