Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored treatment plans for clients, including pre-crisis and crisis intervention strategies that are vital for effective behavioral health management. \n
- Complete all necessary documentation punctually and accurately, adhering to regulatory standards to ensure compliance and quality care. \n
- Utilize evidence-based screening tools as part of the therapeutic process, ensuring the alignment of treatment methodologies with best practices in mental health care. \n
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to devise and implement positive behavior support plans that enhance client outcomes. \n
- Participate actively in licensing and accreditation processes to uphold the clinic's standards of excellence. \n
- Serve as a liaison to various service systems, state agencies, and community partners to streamline care coordination and enhance service delivery. \n
- Establish and maintain effective communication with stakeholders to meet contract standards and further the mission of Health Link Now within the Tacoma community. \n
- Engage in outreach to build relationships with local, state, federal, and private entities that can support or enhance our programs and client services. \n
- Pursue opportunities for personal and professional growth, including attendance at conferences, workshops, and contributing to community discussions relevant to mental health care. \n
- Uphold and promote the core mission, values, and principles of our agency in all interactions. \n
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director to support clinic operations and client care. \n
The Licensed Mental Health Counselor will work primarily with a diverse population, including adults and youth facing mental health challenges, substance use issues, and those impacted by developmental disabilities and brain injuries. Our clients often come from varied backgrounds and experiences, requiring tailored, sensitive approaches in therapy to meet their unique needs and foster effective recovery pathways.

- A Master’s Degree in the mental health field is required, equipping you with the foundational knowledge and clinical skills necessary for practice. \n
- Possession of an Independent LMHC License is essential to ensure that you can provide high-quality, autonomous counseling services to our clients. \n

Compensation and Benefits\nThe salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, depending on your experience and qualifications.
