Job Description

Job Summary:
Assist nursing staff in providing basic patient care in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility setting. Ensure residents' comfort, safety, and well-being through attentive support and adherence to facility policies.

Responsibilities:

Support nursing staff in delivering routine patient care and assisting with activities of daily living.
Monitor residents' health status and report any changes or concerns to the nursing team.
Follow infection control protocols, including proper hand hygiene and PPE usage.
Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents by adhering to facility sanitation standards.
Document care provided and any observations accurately in residents' records.
Comply with all facility policies, including identification and vaccination requirements.

Qualifications:

Hold a valid CNA certification in the state or appropriate licensing.
Demonstrate basic patient care skills and understanding of infection control practices.
Possess reliable transportation to and from the facility, as this is a local role.
Be able to work flexible shifts, including every other weekend.
Exhibit strong communication skills and compassionate attitude toward residents.
Show compliance with vaccination and identification policies as required by the facility.
