HVAC / Apartment Maintenance Technician – Houston, TX

Job Summary:

Certified Apartment Staffing is urgently hiring an experienced HVAC / Maintenance Technician for a fast-paced property in Houston, TX . We need a skilled professional who can jump right in, manage digital work orders efficiently, and handle a wide range of property maintenance tasks—with a heavy focus on HVAC and appliance repair.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work Order Management: Promptly troubleshoot and complete daily resident service requests (tickets) for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs.
• HVAC Maintenance: Diagnose, service, and repair residential heating, ventilation, and air conditioning units. Perform preventative maintenance and system checks.
• Appliance Repair: Safely troubleshoot and repair standard household appliances, including refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers, washers, and dryers.
• Make-Ready / Turns: Assist with turning vacant apartments into move-in-ready condition, ensuring all systems and appliances work flawlessly.
• Safety & Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety guidelines, company protocols, and Fair Housing standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Must have active EPA Certification (Type II or Universal).
• Minimum 1–2 years of hands-on experience in apartment maintenance or field service.
• Proven experience working with digital work order systems or mobile maintenance apps.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in residential appliance repair, electrical, and plumbing.
• Valid Texas Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
