Senior UI Engineer (React)

Our banking client is seeking a Senior UI Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Senior UI Engineer (React), you will be an integral part of the Software Development Department supporting the Security Applications Team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, collaborative spirit, and a passion for creating intuitive user interfaces, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Senior UI Engineer (React)

Location: Charlotte, NC (hybrid) - open to Irving (TX), Chandler (AZ), and Minneapolis (MN)

Job Type: Contract

Pay Range: 70-75/hr W2 (Due to client rules, we are unable to work with 3rd party subcontractors - all candidates must be able to work on Experis' W2 directly)

What's the Job?

• Build and enhance core platform user interfaces for AI-powered applications
• Build and enhance core platform user interfaces for SaaS security applications
• Translate complex security data into clear, actionable insights for application teams and security stakeholders
• Develop reusable, maintainable UI components with a focus on usability and clarity
• Collaborate with backend teams to integrate REST and async APIs effectively
• Partner with control engineers to ensure messaging is clear and effective across platforms

What's Needed?

• 6+ years of frontend engineering experience
• Strong expertise in React, TypeScript, and state management
• Experience with API-driven platforms and data-dense applications such as dashboards
• Familiarity with backend services, particularly FastAPI and async APIs
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a team
