Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing, is seeking a Mechanical Technical Specialist to join their team. As a Mechanical Technical Specialist, you will be part of the Hotline Department supporting maintenance and engineering teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Mechanical Technical Specialist Location: Alcoa, TN Pay Range: $32-$35, DOE Shift: Days, Nights (40 hour) What's the Job? Troubleshoot equipment and process issues to restore product flow efficiently Lead and train craft employees to ensure safety and operational excellence Analyze equipment and process data to identify improvements and implement solutions Assist in outage planning, small capital projects, and major repairs Support process engineering initiatives and continuous improvement efforts What's Needed? Ability to work 12-hour shifts on a rotating schedule, including weekends Strong technical troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude Effective communication and teamwork abilities Willingness to support both day and night shifts as needed Flexibility to travel up to 10% and support on-call troubleshooting What's in it for me?
