ERP Analyst

Overview We have an exciting opportunity to work with one of the world's leading technology provider within the entertainment and events industry. They are looking to bring on a Business Analyst with an Accounting background that would support their Enterprising Resource Planning System by analyzing complex business issues; collaborating with business personnel and information technology team members; designing, developing, testing, delivering, and escalating innovative technology solutions. If you live near the Middletown, Newburgh Bacon area this role could be for you! Must have Oracle Cloud! Location: New Windsor, New York. Job type: Permanent. Salary: $90,000 - 115,000 per year. Work hours: 9 to 5. Education: Bachelor's degree. Experience: 5 years. Responsibilities Experience in working with Oracle Cloud solutions required. Experience with system development life cycle required. Expertise in Lease Accounting, Fixed Assets, Cash Management and Accounts Payable required. Global implementation experience required. Essential Functions Provide technical assistance in identifying and evaluating issues. Develop new functional and business requirements for process enhancements, including providing expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing system options, specifications, and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements. Work with users to identify and document business needs and objectives, current operational procedures. Proactively identify functionality gaps, perform POCs and develop solutions/workarounds. Test business and functional processes during ERP system configuration and upgrades. Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with existing ERP functionality including logging support cases with the software vendor. Assist in design of reports required by users and perform data analysis as needed. Skilled in data analysis, reporting, and troubleshooting across systems. Demonstrated ability to influence and guide others to use best business practice solutions within the constraints of the applications capability. Understanding of IT & Organizational change management principles to help manage the impact of changes on the business. Qualifications Bachelor's in system management, accounting or a related field. 8+ years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in working with Oracle Cloud solutions required. Experience with system development life cycle required. Expertise in Lease Accounting, Fixed Assets, Cash Management and Accounts Payable required. Global implementation experience required. Must have 3 years’ experience working on ERP system.
