Test Engineer II, Secret Clearance

Description The Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) program is seeking an Electronics Engineer to join the Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) team. Location This position does not support teleworking. You will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in Littleton CO and be expected to work a flexible 9x80 schedule in the office full-time. Key Activities Participate in requirements analysis, configuration determination, design, alterations, material procurement, manufacturing, test and acceptance for a wide variety of electrical and electromechanical test systems and multifunction integrated test equipment in support of the US Navy’s Ballistic Missile Flight Test Program. Create/update project/process documentation that align to project requirements. Support the design, procurement, assembly, test and verification of our automated test systems, including data review and trending. Develop hardware requirements from subsystem to all locally assigned support equipment test systems. Interface with suppliers, customer and internal design teams to provide cost effective and low risk solutions. Develop test system design documentation to communicate proposed designs to internal design and business teams, vendors and customers. Have experience in a programming language relevant for quick turn applications (LabVIEW, TestStand, Python, C#, etc). Support, as required, Failure Review Board activities through closure. Ability to travel and work at alternate work sites as required, less than 25%. Required Qualifications 1+ years professional experience. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or a related discipline or equivalent experience/combined education. Hardware development experience. Strong technical background with Automated Test Equipment (ATE) or other similar systems. Experience in one or more of the following: Creo, Windchill, Zuken, PSPICE. Experience in one or more of the following: LabVIEW, TestStand, Python, C#. Active DoD Secret or higher clearance (US Citizen). Desired Skills Experience leading project teams and development efforts. Experience with product lifecycle (development, deployment, retirement). Issue Tracking experience. Ability to work autonomously and drive items to closure. Demonstrated ability to lead/coordinate with small diverse teams in development of technical products. Experience reading schematic diagrams and other technical documentation. Experience troubleshooting. Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Security Clearance This position requires a government security clearance. An active DoD Secret or higher clearance is required; you must be a US Citizen.
