Then this role could be the right fit for you. Responsibilities Perform a wide range of toolmaker operations related to the setup, maintenance, and fabrication of tooling components. Interpret and work from blueprints, technical specifications, and engineering diagrams to complete precision tasks. Set up, operate, and maintain tool room equipment, including grinders, milling machines, drill presses, and lathes. Manufacture precision replacement parts and tooling components to support machine functionality and production needs. Perform minor machine repairs and troubleshoot tooling-related issues to minimize downtime. Support special tooling, fixture, and project assignments as required to meet operational objectives. Train and assist team members on proper equipment setup, operation, and best practices for tooling systems. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment while ensuring all tool room equipment remains in proper working condition. Follow workplace safety procedures and company standards to promote a safe manufacturing environment. Qualifications High School Diploma, GED, or trade school certification required. Minimum of 4+ years of related experience in toolmaking, machining, or a similar manufacturing environment. Hands‑on experience operating manual machining equipment, including mills, lathes, drill presses, band saws, and hand grinders to produce tooling components. Strong ability to proficiently operate common machining equipment such as milling machines, lathes, and grinders. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications accurately. Knowledge of precision measurement techniques and tool room safety practices preferred.
