As they continue to grow, they are looking for an Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) Manager to lead safety, health, and environmental programs at manufacturing facilities. This role ensures compliance with EH&S standards and regulatory requirements while fostering a strong safety culture. Responsibilities include collaborating with leadership and employees to implement safety initiatives, develop action plans, and maintain OSHA compliance. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with strong problem-solving skills and expertise in manufacturing safety and environmental regulations. What YOU get to DO in this high-profile position: Develop, implement, and oversee site-specific safety programs, including LOTO, Confined Space, Electrical Safety, Fall Protection, and Powered Industrial Trucks. Conduct safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify hazards and opportunities for improvement. Lead safety initiatives, including EH&S committee meetings, safety equipment inspections, PPE management, and regular safety walkthroughs. Provide or facilitate employee safety training using corporate safety materials and site-specific content, ensuring compliance with OSHA and company EH&S standards. Investigate workplace accidents and incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to improve safety performance. Manage and report monthly safety performance metrics on the corporate EH&S platform. Oversee environmental compliance programs, including stormwater management, spill reporting, and waste disposal. Lead the emergency response team, ensuring preparedness for incidents and crisis situations. What you NEED to SUCCEED in this challenging role: Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or Engineering (preferred) 3+ years of EH&S management experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to create structured safety processes. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work cross-functionally. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
