Maintenance Technician

We are seeking dedicated Maintenance Technicians for our Macomb location. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring equipment uptime through timely and in-depth troubleshooting and repair. You will work on various production equipment including Injection Molders, Blow Molders, Fillers/Cappers, Labelers, Case Packers, Conveyors, Palletizers, and Stretch Wrappers.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting and repair of all production equipment, including injection molders, blow molders, fillers/cappers, labelers, case packers, conveyors, palletizers, and stretch wrappers
• Troubleshoot and repair facilities and auxiliary equipment such as chillers, air compressors, Reverse Osmosis, and other water filtration equipment
• Conduct general maintenance of the plant
• Collaborate with machine operators, supervisors, and the Preventative Maintenance team to resolve mechanical issues during shifts
• Propose solutions to complex and recurring problems on production equipment to senior mechanics and management
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems using schematics, technical drawings, and testing equipment
• Repair equipment, fixtures, systems, conveyors, and other equipment at the facility
• Modify, lubricate, diagnose, and operate equipment in accordance with defined processes
• Maintain industrial control systems

Essential Skills

• 4+ years of industrial maintenance and troubleshooting on hydraulics and pneumatics
• 3+ years of strong electrical troubleshooting experience, working with up to 480 volts three-phase
• Ability to safely and independently use a multimeter
• Clear understanding of AC vs DC current, electrical components, and basic controls troubleshooting
• 3+ years of strong root cause troubleshooting of machinery and HMI interpretation

This is a permanent position based out of Macomb, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $36.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
