Job Description
Registered Nurse - Internal Medicine Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule AM Shift: 5 × 7.5-hour shifts per week, totaling 38 hours per week. Job Description The Registered Nurse will provide high-quality care within the Internal Medicine department, focusing primarily on breast cancer and primary care patients. The nurse will be responsible for managing patient needs, reviewing lab results, and obtaining medication authorizations over the phone. Responsibilities
- Manage a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:8.
- Perform clinical assessments and deliver direct patient care.
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding lab results and medication authorizations.
- Ensure compliance with best nursing practices and standards.
- Handle an average of 15 cases seen per day.
- Must have 2-3 years of nursing experience.
- Previous travel nursing experience is required.
- Competence in all basic nursing skills is essential.
