Roles & Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive screenings and evaluations for patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders
Develop and implement individualized treatment and discharge plans that restore function and improve quality of life
Document patient services accurately, maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations
Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and families to ensure well-coordinated, patient-centered care
Uphold the highest standards of infection control and safety in every patient interaction

Qualifications

Master's degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program
Current West Virginia SLP license (or eligibility) and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or CFY supervision available
Strong communication, documentation, and clinical problem-solving skills
Passion for helping people rediscover their voice and improve their daily lives

Education

Master's degree (MS/MA) in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in speech, language, and swallowing therapy techniques
Patient evaluation and evidence-based treatment planning
Interdisciplinary collaboration and effective documentation
Infection control and clinical problem-solving
