Snowflake Data Governance Steward

Salary: $98,707.93 - 177,674.27 per year Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree in a quantitative or closely related field.
• We look for 5+ years of experience in data governance, data analysis, or data engineering.
• We require strong knowledge of Snowflake architecture, implementation, and best practices.
• We require strong proficiency in Snowflake SQL development.
• Experience designing and implementing data governance is highly valued.
• Experience with RBAC/ABAC design and deployment is a plus.
• Experience with visualization BI tools such as Looker and Tableau is a plus.
• Experience with Fivetran or similar ETL tools is a plus.
• Experience with Salesforce Service Cloud development is a plus.
• Experience in advertising technology is a major advantage.
• Familiarity with FreeWheel data and products such as MRM, Beeswax, and Strata is a plus.
• Experience with Atlan or comparable data tools is a plus.

• Experience with agile development methodologies is preferred.

• We design new software and data engineering solutions in our Snowflake environment.
• We apply deep engineering knowledge to Snowflake and related technologies.
• We develop advanced Snowflake SQL and ETL code to support our BI systems.
• We implement Snowflake standards and best practices.
• We put advanced data controls such as RBAC and ABAC into practice within Snowflake and our internal tools.
• We partner with internal stakeholders and business partners to turn requirements into working solutions.
• We use platform best practices to deliver high-quality solutions.
• We present Data Governance and Snowflake best practices regularly, both in person and remotely, to all levels of our organization.
• We write and review standards and best-practice documentation for Data Governance and Snowflake.
• We help Trust and Standards Management develop standards, guidelines, and best practices for Snowflake and data governance.
• We apply process design and redesign skills and defend technical and architectural decisions to internal audiences.
• We use project management skills to support delivery.
• We exercise independent judgment on matters of significance.
• We maintain regular and punctual attendance.
• We perform other duties as assigned.
