Outpatient Internal Medicine Physician

The ETSU Department of Internal Medicine invites board-certified or board-eligible Internists to join our established team at ETSU Health outpatient clinics in the Appalachian Highlands of Tennessee. This is a primarily outpatient-focused position, with opportunities for optional inpatient rotations based on individual interests and departmental needs. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive outpatient internal medicine care, including diagnosis, treatment, and patient education Teach and mentor medical students and residents in Internal Medicine Deliver lectures, lead case discussions, and contribute to hands‑on clinical training Engage in scholarly activity and contribute to the advancement of knowledge in internal medicine Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered care Faculty members benefit from the guidance of experienced academic leaders within an established medical school, along with access to a wide range of institutional resources designed to support professional development and career growth.
