Dining Area and Tray Setup

You will be responsible for setting up the dining area and trays for meal services, adhering to food safety guidelines, and following dietary restrictions based on residents' needs.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting cook/supervisor with food preparation and service using specific procedures, following guidelines, and regulations.
• Delivering residents' meal carts, and setting and cleaning assigned dining area(s) to serve residents.
• Accurately recording temperatures on refrigerators; clean and stock as needed.
• Wash and store dishes; adhering to overall sanitation and maintenance of the kitchen.
• Knowledgeable of federal, state, and community rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Acting in conformance with all facility and departmental policies and procedures including those relating to human resources, code of ethics and business conduct, health and safety regulations, compliance requirements, patient rights, confidentiality, and HIPAA. Responsible for acting in conformance with accrediting agency standards.
• Attending department meetings as required.
• Demonstrating accountability to accept responsibility for personal/professional growth and any required certifications/licenses, if applicable.
• Completing mandatory training and competencies annually.

This is an hourly position, expected hours include days, evenings, some weekends, and some holidays.

Preferred qualifications:

• 1 year food service preferred
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Basic food preparation knowledge.
• Sanitation and safety practices.
