Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Saint Johnsbury, Vermont. Located in Vermonts Northeast Kingdom, this position involves providing comprehensive patient care in a general Med/Surg unit. The role offers an opportunity to work with adult and occasional pediatric patients in a rural critical access hospital setting. Job Details Position Description: Night shift mainly adults with occasional pediatrics. The RN will coordinate patient care, collaborate with healthcare professionals, and utilize the Nursing Process to meet diverse patient needs. The role emphasizes holistic care tailored to patients age, physiological, spiritual, psychosocial, and developmental requirements. Required Qualifications: Vermont RN licensure or multi-state RN licensure, BLS (American Heart Association), ACLS certification, at least 3 years of acute care experience, and a valid license. Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week. Additional Information: Credentialing requirements include uploading all necessary documentation five business days prior to start date; flu shot vaccination is required. Travelers will start on Wednesdays; during orientation week, those on a 48-hour contract will be guaranteed 36 hours due to the midweek start.
