However, individual compensation may vary based on factors including qualifications, skills, competencies, education, and experience.Company-provided uniformsDaily pay optionsPaid training401(k) matchingOpportunities for career advancement into leadership roles and other positions within the companyPosition Overview:As a Ramp Agent, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient loading and unloading of customer baggage, operating ground service equipment, and coordinating the servicing of arriving and departing aircraft. You will also prepare aircraft cabins for departure, assist with ramp services (including waste disposal and re-servicing of aircraft), and assist customers as needed. This position may require you to work with multiple carriers and fulfill various duties as assigned. Ramp Agents must be comfortable interacting with customers and proficient in using computers. The role requires the ability to work under stress, meet rigid time constraints, and work outdoors in various weather and noise conditions.Key Responsibilities:Safely lift, load, unload, and transport baggage, mail, and cargo from the aircraft to the airportGuide aircraft to and from gate positions to maintain on-time connectionsProtect baggage and other equipment from damage, loss, and adverse weather conditionsOperate ground equipment such as tugs, cargo carts, service trucks, and belt loadersEnsure ground equipment is available in the ramp area and bag room for upcoming flightsPrepare the cabin for customer boarding, including cleaning seats, seat pockets, floors, galleys, and lavatoriesAssist with record-keeping and documentation to ensure accurate routing of baggageAdhere to safety guidelines and maintain safe working conditions for yourself and othersCommunicate effectively with managers and lead agents to manage daily schedulesReport equipment issues and breakdowns to facilitate quick repairsWork with multiple carriers, as needed, and perform other duties as assignedRequirements:Must be at least 18 years of ageAble to work in extreme conditions (e.g., hot and cold weather) and small spacesMust have a high school diploma or equivalent (GED)Must be able to read, speak, and understand the English language fluently.
