Maintenance Technician

LV Property Management is currently hiring Maintenance Technicians for two luxury apartment communities located in Kenosha or Somers, Wisconsin. These are beautiful, well-maintained communities where resident service, teamwork, and quality maintenance are valued every day.Community assignments will be discussed during the interview process based on overall fit.The Maintenance Technician will work closely with the Property Manager and Maintenance Supervisor to complete rehabilitation of the vacant apartments, service requests and other maintenance issues as quickly and efficiently as possible to promote high occupancy rates and excellent response times. The ideal candidate will have prior experience and a demonstrable commitment to customer service.Salary Range: $22.00 to $25.00 per hour plus bonus!What You'll Be DoingTroubleshoot and complete service requests involving HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, drywall, carpentry, and painting.Complete apartment turns and prepare homes for new residents.Perform preventative maintenance and routine property inspections.Maintain common areas and amenities to the high standards expected within luxury communities.Accurately document work orders using a mobile work order system.Communicate professionally with residents, vendors, and fellow team members.Participate in an on-call rotation with your maintenance team.What We're Looking ForHigh School Diploma or GEDApartment maintenance experience (strongly preferred).Independently complete service requests in occupied apartment homes.Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and general maintenance.Enjoys troubleshooting and finding solutions.Takes pride in quality workmanship and the appearance of communityTakes ownership of work and follows through on commitmentsA strong attention to detail, and notices potential problemsUnderstands that great customer service is just as important as quality repair.Is dependable, professional, and looking for a long-term opportunity.What You’ll GetStable, year-round employment.Competitive compensation based on experience.Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.401(k) with company match.Paid holidays and paid time off.Growth and certification opportunities.Monthly and Quarterly BonusesGas/Mileage ReimbursementDedicated property teams that value maintenance professionals.As part of the hiring process, final candidates must successfully complete a background check and a drug screen.
